Any product furnished under a contract or order for a product designated as part of the QSL program, unless specifically authorized by the government in writing, must fully comply with the terms and conditions of the QSL program. This excludes rod end bearings which may be gaged using SYSTEM 22. wire rope terminal studs, rod end clevis’ and all nails, keys or pins (FSC 5315) may be inspected using SYSTEM 21 of FED-STD-H28/20

Packaging code ZZ/each fastener shall have the entire length of the shank and thread protected by a wrap or sleeve.
